Privacy Policy
Binarium Corp.
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Binarium (“Binarium”, “we”, “us”) handles personal and business information on binarium.ca and in the internal business software we operate, including our integration with Intuit QuickBooks Online. Binarium is an IT services company based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
1. Information we collect
- Website and enquiries: the name, email address, phone number and message you send us through our contact forms, email or phone, and basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) recorded by our web server and analytics tools.
- Customers and support: contact details, service records, support tickets and billing details for clients who use our managed IT, phone, network and cloud services.
- Accounting data: Binarium’s own business accounting records (customers, invoices, payments, items and related information) that we access in QuickBooks Online through Intuit’s API.
2. How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and provide, support, bill and improve our services.
- To create, track and reconcile quotes and invoices, and to confirm whether invoices have been paid.
- To secure our systems, prevent fraud and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
3. QuickBooks Online integration
Binarium connects its own internal systems to its own QuickBooks Online company using Intuit’s OAuth 2.0 authorization. The integration is used only by Binarium for its own bookkeeping and billing. It is not offered to the public. Through the connection we may read and, where needed, create or update accounting records such as customers, invoices and payments.
- Access tokens are stored on Binarium-controlled servers with restricted access and are never shown to end users.
- Data obtained from QuickBooks Online is used only for the purposes in section 2 and is not shared with, sold to, or used to advertise to any third party.
- You can revoke Binarium’s access at any time from the QuickBooks Online app settings; on revocation we delete the stored tokens.
4. Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us operate our business (for example hosting, email, payment processing, accounting and support-ticketing providers), under obligations to protect it, and where required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information.
5. Retention
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal and tax record-keeping requirements (generally up to seven years for financial records), then delete or anonymize it.
6. Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, restricted credentials and logging to protect information. No system is completely secure, but we work to limit access to people who need it.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable Canadian law, including PIPEDA, you may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by contacting us below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Cookies
Our website may use cookies for basic functionality and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work as a result.
9. Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date.
